Annius Verus (?) AE quadrans, (2.27g) Head of young Boy right. / Large SC in wreath. RIC 35. Good VF, brown patina, metal flaws. 
While older sources attribute this coin to Annius Verus, the twin of Commodus, more modern sources generally consider it to be the head of Winter personified, part of a series honoring the four seasons. The known Roman Imperial portrait medallion of Annius Verus and his brother has reverse of the Four Seasons. This makes the attribution of this quadrans more difficult.
