                                Description

     This is an AE As. minted in honour of Marcus Vispanius Agrippa ,
     a friend and general to Augustus. Minted during the reign of
     Caligula in 38 AD. Front shows Agrippa face left. Legend M
     AGRIPPA L F COS III. Reverse shows Neptune standing leftholding
     trident. Large legend SC. Nice smooth patina. Back is
     counter-marked TIAV and has some ancient scratches. An
     interesting historical coin. Buyer pays $2.50 shipping and ins.in
     the USA. Checks and money orders accepted. All coins guaranteed
