            Clodius Albinus as Caesar. (193-195 AD). Orichalcum dupondius (12.98 
            gm). Rome, 194 AD. D CLOD SEPT ALBIN CAES, head bare right / 
            FELICITAS COS II S—C, Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and 
            scepter. BMCRE 545, pl. 23.6 (same obverse die). RIC 58. Cohen 17 
            (15 Fr.). With an attractive portrait in high relief. Green patina 
            with touches of red. Extremely fine. 

            All middle bronzes of Albinus struck from this obverse die appear to 
            be dupondii rather than asses, although the actual color of the 
            metal on our patinated specimen cannot be discerned.
