(3.64 gm). Italy, ca. 36 BC. Bare head of Octavian 
right, border of dots / CAESAR DIVI F, Pax standing 
left, holding branch and cornucopia, border of dots. 
BMCRE 605. CBN 29. Cohen 69. RIC 252. Splendid portrait. 
Nearly mint state 

The dotted instead of linear borders on the obverse and 
reverse prove that this type and another with bust of 
Pax right/emperor walking right (BMCRE 612) are the 
earliest types of the CAESAR DIVI F issue.
