Caius Julius Casear, 100-44 BCE, silver denarius, 16-19 mm, 3.71 gm. Obverse : bare head right between laurel branch and caduceus. Reverse : L. LIVINEIUS above bull butting right, REGULUS in ex. Grade gVG. Light toning, even wear on a somewhat irregular flan - one of the scarcer portrait types. This piece was issued in 39 BCE to commemorate some public games, which included bull fights.
