(Crawford 480/19, Sydenham 1069) Grade:VF
44 BC. Veiled bust of Caesar right, lituus
before and apex behind/C. COSSVTIVS and
MARIDIANVS in the form of a cross, A A A FF
in the angles. Typical flat strike affecting
top of Caesar's head. Still, a rare
portrait. Estimate $985. [L535045]
