I was lucky to know Prof. Henry Clay Lindgren, and to advertise his sales for him on WildWinds.com. His illustrated sales were created by careful attribution and photography of each coin, the photos then literally cut-and-pasted onto large sheets of cardboard for reproduction on the printed flyers he sent out to collectors all over the world. Starting with Buy-or-Bid 38, I received these original sheets and scanned them in for posting as online catalogs...

Some volunteers are working on what we're calling the "Lindgren IV" project, taking the images and text from the Buy-or-Bid Sales, and processing them into individual coins' entries. (Sales 39, 49 and 50 are in the works.)
If you have earlier Mail Bid Sale catalogs, I would like to hear from you, as it would be nice to get those scanned and posted here as well.
