Te Bisalti was located between the Strymon and the Axios 
rivers. Ishtib hoard (IGCH 355) dated this coin to ca 
500 BC, which in the light of the Asyut hoard (none
present) would seem too early. Price and Waggoner (p. 39) 
suggest that the Bisalti and Edoni coinage can be dated to 
the time of the Athenian expeditions ca 475-465.
