            THRACE. Byzantium. Ca. 240–220 BC. Silver tetradrachm (13.90 gm). 
            Veiled head of Demeter right, wreathed with grain / BY, Poseidon 
            seated right on rock, holding aphlaston in extended right hand and 
            trident over shoulder, monogram in left field, magistrate’s 
            signature [E]ĐI AČANAIŮN[OÓ] in exergue. Schonert-Geiss 1022.3 (this 
            coin). Cf. SNG BM Black Sea 59–61. Cf. SNG Copenhagen 486. A few old 
            scratches. Toned. Very fine.
