                        drachm (2.83 gm).

                        THESSALY: Pharsalus. First quarter of fourth century BC. 
                        AR drachm (2.83 gm). Head of Athena left, wearing 
                        crested Attic helmet ornamented with Scylla throwing 
                        rock / Horse head right. Lavva 161 (probably same 
                        obverse die) (there dated 424-405/4 BC). Beautifully 
                        rendered head of Athena. Nearly extremely fine 
                        Estimated Value: $ 500
