 Sicily, Panormus. 1st Century BC. Æ 26mm (8.24 gm). Laureate head of Zeus left /
  Figure in Roman military attire standing left, leaning on spear, shield behind;
  Panormus monogram in left field, hammer in right field. Calciati 119; SNG ANS 588;
  SNG Copenhagen 548-550; BMC Sicily pg. 124, 33ff. var. (no magistrate's name). Nice
  VF, brown patina, a couple flan cracks and a cut at edge. Estimate $75.

An unusually nice example of this type. Calciati states that the metal 
used in issuing these coins was impure and suceptible to corrosion.
