                        SICILY. Messana as Zancle. Ca. 510-494 BC. Silver drachm 
                        (5.68 gm). DANKLE, dolphin leaping left within 
                        sickle-shaped harbor / Shallow incuse square divided 
                        into nine smaller squares, the central square sunk, 
                        containing cockle shell in relief; the corner squares 
                        halved diagonally, one half sunk; two opposing squares 
                        sunk, each containing raised rectangle. Gielow, MBNG 
                        XLVIII, 55 (same obverse die). SNG ANS 300 (same obverse 
                        die). Rizzo pl. xxv, 4-5. Toned. Obverse struck from 
                        slightly rusty die. Lamination near reverse edge, 
                        otherwise good very fine
