CSE 581 (this coin!) Ex Houghton collection. Obv. Diademed head of
Demetrius II r./ Rev. Zeus enthroned l., holding eagle. BASILEWS DHMHTRIOY
NIKATOROS. Fine example of coin that shows Demetrius II with some features
of Demetrius I, including projecting forelock. Originally purchased in
Beirut, the coin was likely struck at an as yet undetermined north Syrian
mint. Buyer pays $5.00 insured shipping in US and Canada or $2.50 if paying
by billpoint.
