  mint(?). Struck circa 268-261 BC. Diademed head of Antiochos right / BASILEWS
  ANTIOXOY, Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in right hand, bow in left;
  leaning T in a circle before. Newell, ESM 697 var.; Houghton 1289 var.; SNG Spaer -.
  VF, many small surface marks; encrusted along the right edge. Estimate $200.



  This monogram appears to be a variety of the D in circle monogram of Aļ Khanoum. It
  is not found elsewhere, and the arrangement of the diadem ends matchs that of
  specimens with the D in circle monogram.
