            Coponius]. 

            R: Vine or Fig leaf [in imitation of the Jewish War AE pieces]. 

            Meshorer TJC #373, [0.71, 13mm, 11h]. 

            Quite rare, these coins are found in the region around Caesarea and 
            discussed in Meshorer's, A Treasury of Jewish Coins on pages 263-4 
            and illustrated on page 354. This one is easily as nice as the plate 
            coin. This series of coins was thought to have been struck for local 
            use and typically imitated earlier Jewish coin types.  A nice rarity 
            for your Jewish collection.
