Winged griffin with long curved horn sitting right; 
SL (Shelemiyah?) to left and right of wing; flower (?) in 
left field, all within square border. 

Rev. Stag crouching right, head with long horns turned left; 
between horns, head of Bes facing; SL in upper left field, 
all within square border.

Of the highest rarity, only the second known specimen. 
Somewhat corroded, otherwise about very fine Only several 
types of Samarian drachms are known (compared to Philistian 
series where they are much varied) and are rarely offered in 
the market.
