Gold Stater, Tomis Mint Obverse: Diademed head of deified Alexander the Great right, wearing horn of Ammon; small dot above large dot behind. Reverse: Athena enthroned left, Nike standing left in Athena's extended right hand, Athena's left elbow resting on shield; TO on throne, (delta)IO above knee, small dot above Nike, dot before knee, Greek legends far right and left, trident in exergue. EF, Coin is much better than picture. This coin has the typical worn obverse die found for this issue. The reverse is quite nice and better than average. Excellent centering and surfaces both sides, a bit of whitish gold at Athena's feet. Nice design of the dolphins around the trident and good detail for these.
