     Pontos, Kings of. Mithradates VI. 120-63 BC. AR Tetradrachm
     (15.62 gm). Struck year 222 (=76/5 BC). Diademed head of
     Mithradates right / Pegasos grazing left; star, crescent and
     monogram to left, BKS and monogram to right, I (month 10) below;
     all within ivy wreath. De Callata˙ pg. 19, D36/R2a corr. (this
     coin). Toned VF. 721201

     Ex Glendining (5 March 1970), lot 57.

     De Callata˙ unfortunately switched the obverse photograph of this
     coin with another that appeared in the same Glendining sale, lot
     58. Thus, the reverse of this coin is found on plate 10
     (D36-R2a), while the obverse appears on plate 12 (D76-R2a).
     However, as both this coin and the coin with which he switched
     obverse photographs both represent respectively single known
     examples of the obverse die, we've kept his obverse die
     designation as D36.
