Ancient Coinage of Phoenicia, Botrys



Botrys, modern day Batroun, is 53 km north of Beyrut. Antiochos III occupied the town in 218 BC during the 4th Syrian war, and Pompey delivered it from the Iturians in 64-63 BC.
