  ASPENDOS: Anonymous, ca. 425-300 BC, AR stater (10.75g), 
  Pamphylia. SNG Cop 222. Two naked wrestlers grappling, all in 
  dotted circular frame / slinger standing right, loosing shot, 
  triskeles to right, all in dotted, square, linear frame. 
  Excellent bull countermark placed behind slinger, 22.1 mm; Die 
  axis 7.5, VF. 
  Estimated Value $350 - 450. 

  Countermarks were placed on circulated coinage to indicate 
  that there were new rulers or that the coin would keep its 
  value even though worn. This example is in good condition and 
  the countermark is excellent.
