Province of Macedon,during the Roman Imperial period, 3rd Century A.D., AE
27, F+. Obv. Bare head of Alexander the Great right. Rev. Snake coming out
of basket with lid opened. The coin is dark gray, almost black, with a
small piece along the edge missing, which cuts off some of the legends, but
noe of the images. Legends are about 1/2 present, and the images are well
struck with some detail.
