      BC). AV stater (8.52 gm).

      Sardes, ca. 330-325 BC. Head of Athena right, wearing 
      crested Corinthian helmet with coiled serpent device on 
      bowl / Nike standing left, holding wreath and stylis, 
      bucranium in left field. Price 2539. As Thompson 33-37, 
      but this obverse die not represented. About very fine
