 MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Alexander III, the Great (336–323 BC).
 AR tetradrachm (17.05 gm). Miletus, ca. 300–295 BC. As
      Mail Bid Home Page         preceding but without royal title, ??? monogram in left
 field, double-bladed axe under throne. Price 2143. Good very
 fine

 Miletus was under the control of Ptolemy I from 298 to 295/4
 BC. It is possible this tetradrachm was struck during that
 period.

 Estimated Value: $ 350
