     Macedon, Kings of. Alexander III. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm
     (16.54 gm). Lampsakos. Struck 280-275 BC. Head of Herakles right
     / Zeus seated left, holding eagle; forepart of pegasos in left
     field. Price--; Hersh, Additions and Corrections--; Mόller--. VF,
     unpublished variety. 721722

     Price does note these monograms and symbol for a stater (see
     Price 1453), but not any of the silver denominations. Since the
     publication of his seminal work on Alexander's coinage, and with
     Hersh's addenum, it has become highly unusual to encounter a coin
     not previously recorded.
