            ROMAN PROVINCE OF MACEDON. First Region. 158–150 BC. Silver 
            tetradrachm (16.88 gm). Draped bust of Artemis right, wearing 
            stephane, bow and quiver over shoulder, in tondo of Macedonian 
            shield ornamented with stars in double crescents / MAKEÄONÙN ÐÑÙTHÓ, 
            horizontal club, AP monogram above, all within oak wreath, 
            thunderbolt outside to left. SNG Oxford 3290–3292. ANMG III/1, p. 
            54, 159. Struck in high relief. Toned extremely fine.
