LUCANIA. Thurium. Ca. 443–400 BC. Silver distater (15.20 gm). Head 
of Athena right in crested Attic helmet adorned with olive wreath, 
edge of garment visible at neck / ÈOÕÑIÙN, bull butting right, Î 
above neck, outline of square die visible. Noe A2 (same dies). HN 
Italy 1762. Rare first issue of distater with olive wreath instead 
of Scylla. Pleasantly toned. Very fine.
