See eligibility Description Agrippa II, 55-95 AD, bronze of 11.2 mm, 1.40 grams. Dated "Year 19" and struck at Caesarea Paneas 78/79 AD. Obverse: Veiled head of Berenice, sister of Agrippa II. Reverse: Upside down anchor, date in field. Reference: Hendin 601. RARE and MOST interesting issue of Agrippa II. Struck in the year of his voyage to Rome with his sister Berenice. The coin was struck in advance, since it was fully expected that Berenice would marry Titus, but this was forbidden by the Roman Senate and thus Agrippa II and his sister returned to Judaea. This lot is accompanied by a photo-authenticity receipt signed by David Hendin, author of Guide to Biblical Coins.
