Obv:  .IEPACVNKLHTOC.   Laureate and draped bust of the Roman Senate right. 
 Countermark:  D in circular punch (on bust). 

Rev:  CMVPGNE WKOPWN . Figure of Tyche holding rudder and cornucopia inside 
 tetrastyle temple.  

Ref: Howgego 791; Ex. Lindgren II:556; BMC 233.  

Grade: near VF/good Fine, green patina with minor earthen deposits. 
 Countermark VF.  

Die Axis:  180°. Weight:  4.95 g. 

The countermark was probably not applied before the time of the joint reign of 
Valerian and Gallienus (Howgego, 1985).
