            IONIA. Miletus. Late seventh–early sixth century BC. Electrum stater 
            (13.95 gm). Lion reclining left, head reverted, within rectangular 
            frame with dentate pattern / Three incuse punch marks: on left, 
            square punch containing head of stag left; in center, oblong punch 
            with wedge-shaped projections from edge, containing fox left and 
            three pellets; on right, four-lobed punch containing pattern 
            composed of five pellets and two diagonally crossed lines. . 
            Weidauer 126. Traite I, 19. Cf. Boston 1882 (punches in different 
            order, and stag’s head right). Flan crack at 12 o’clock. Tiny scrape 
            on lion’s back. About extremely fine/ extremely fine.
