behind. Crude VF, dark patina, edge flaw, porous. RPC gives
this issue to Cleopatra VII. However, the use of a single
eagle indicates that only a single king occupied the
throne. The 5.9g average weight of the 6 examples found at
Paphos II indicates that this issue was struck midway
through the series of monograms, in the second portion of
the reign of Ptolemy XII. Scarce.
