   right. / RTOLEAMI[OY BASILEWS] Two eagles standing left on
   thunderbolt, winged thunderbolt before. Svor. 1694. BMC 68. Some VF
[ ]detail, well centered on a typically broad and thin flan, with a     [ ]
   casting sprue, but unevenly struck.

   Rare. The two reverse eagle indicate two rulers on the throne.
   Therefore, Ptolemy IX and X. Hazzard p. 88 calls this Ptolemy IX
   noting, ". . . he coined no bronzes bigger than 38 mm." The 42 mm
   measurement is the largest possible diameter of this coin, including
   the casting sprue. The average weight of the examples in Svoronos is
   30 grams. If an obol weighed 10) g, then this is a hemidrachm. Very
   interesting.
