            Koson. Gold stater (8.32 gm). , Dacian mint, mid to early 1st 
            century BC. Roman consul accompanied by two lictors, monogram to 
            left, ΚΟΣΩΝ in exergue / Eagle standing left on scepter, holding 
            wreath. BMC Thrace 1. RPC I 1701. Of the many Koson staters on the 
            market, this is one of the very few perfect ones, struck on an extra 
            large flan. Fleur de coin.
