Square incuse divided into six triangular segments. 

Seltman Group A (attributed to Athens); BMC Crete 14 (attributed to Karthaia, Kios); Warren 964 (same obverse 
die); Münzen und Medaillen 76 (19-20 Sept 1991), lot 714. 
Extremely rare. ($5000)

This type has variously been attributed to Athens and Karthaia, Keos. An attribution to Andros seems more likely 
but remains uncertain.
