Head and leg softly struck, otherwise good very fine Troxell reviewed provenances and other evidence to determine that the two mints of her "winged Carians" were located in eastern Caria between Caunus and Telmessus. K. Konuk, Studies Price, pp. 197-223, has since demonstrated that Caunus was the mint of the "winged Carians" with a female deity. The mint of the present coin was probably one of Troxell's remaining three candidates, Calynda, Crya, or Telandria.
