(3.54 gm).  Nude youth on horseback right;  placing wreath on horse’s head,
magistrate   KLH-SHRAMBOS /  Taras  on  dolphin left,  holding trident  and

Hannibal used the region around Tarentum and Metapontion as winter quarters
during his occupation of southern Italy. He installed his own magistrates
and struck coinage based on the Punic half shekel standard.
