g). Ep(aminondas), magistrate. Struck circa 
364-362 BC. Boiotian shield, club left across 
upper half / Youthful head of Herakles right, 
wearing lion's skin headdress; E-P upward on 
right; all within incuse concave circle. Hepworth,

Unlike the other two named obols, KL and QE 
there is no other magistrate's name starting with EP so 
the attribution of this obol to the famous Epaminondas is secure.
