   KINGS of AXUM (Aksum). Wazena. Circa 525-550 AD. Æ 17mm (1.41 gm). "King
   WZN" (in Ge'ez), draped bust right wearing headcloth, holding grain ear /
   "He who is Fitting for the People" (in Ge'ez), cross-crosslet with X; gilt
   center. Munro-Hay 119; BMC Aksum 415. Near VF, green patina.
   From the mid 6th century onwards Greek begins to lose its primacy as the
   liturgical and official language of Axum, being replaced by the local
   Ge'ez dialect.
