   ATTICA. Athens. Ca. 154/3 BC. Silver "New Style" 
   tetradrachm (16.68 gm). Head of Athena Parthenos right, 
   wearing thunderbolt earring and crested Attic helmet 
   ornamented with four horse heads on visor, Pegasus above 
   raised ear flap, and vegetative tendrils on neckpiece / 
   AQE, owl standing three quarters right on fallen 
   amphora, HAPY monogram in left field, in right field FUG 
   monogram above caps of Dioscuri in right field, all in 
   olive wreath. Thompson 64. Slightly granular surfaces, 
   otherwise extremely fine
