Reverse: Head of Athena left, wearing Corinthian helmet over leather cap; Leukas symbol and caduceus behind. Condition: choice VF+, picture is quite accurate, nice smooth metal with iridescent gray toning, subtle blues, reds and greens showing through, and lighter on the high surfaces. Athena is probably near EF; lower front edge of Pegasos' wing is probably wear, but could be either part of the die design or from a broken die since it is much higher than the lower back feathers of the wing. Nice decent relief coin that is quite attractive. Compare to similar type in CNG 53, lot 321, a good VF estimated at $250 and sold for $300 + 10%; this coin with less wear.
