Extremely rare. Good very fine The pellet-sprinkled shell of this tortoise is a feature that has not been noted in the literature. A second example has been reported, very possibly from the same obverse die. This special ornamentation could conceivably mark the very first issue to portray the land tortoise instead of the sea turtle. Estimated Value: $ 2,000 ...Lot was unsold.
