Ancient Coinage of Campania, Allifae

Allifae, an ancient town of Italy, a center of the Samnites, in the valley of the Vulturnus, at the foot of the Monte Matese. The Itineraries places it on the road from Rome to Beneventum by the Via Latina, 17 miles from Teanum.
