                       Pentanummia - Constantinople Mint.
               * Obv: OM TIB PP AVI, Diademed, draped, cuirassed
                               bust facing right.
                               * Rev: Large u.
                           * Sear Byzantine #438a.
              * An interesting piece with an even dark patina for
                your Byzantine denomination collection. Even more
                 unusual due to the cartoonish portrait and flan
               shape (~ 14mm).  Hahn #40 & Berk #375, due to the
                 dominant bulging eyes. This distinction is not
                            differentiated by Sear.
