     Solidus (4.42 gm). Mint of Constantinopolis O: Crowned bust of
     Theophilus facing, with short beard, wearing crown and chlamys,
     holding patriarchal cross and akakia. R: Facing crowned busts of
     Michael II (his deceased father) with short beard on left and
     Constantine (his deceased son), beardless on right; both wearing
     crown and chlamys, cross in field above between their heads. Sear
     1653.
     Grade: Absolutely flawless surfaces, Choice metal Good EXTREMELY
     FINE.
