Justin, on left, standing facing, holding globus cruciger, and Sophia, on 
right, standing facing, holding long cruciger sceptre / Large K; to left, 
nimbate and togate figure holding long Chi-Rho. Cf. DOC I 298 (Maurice Tiberius); 
MIB 162; BN pg. 215; SB 608 (Maurice Tiberius). VF. Extremely rare. 
($1200) There appear to be four recorded specimens of this type: 1) an 
example published in RBN (1857); 2) Imhoof-Blumer Collection (Jacob Hirsch 
Auktion XVIII, 27 May 1907), lot 1969 = MIB II 162; 3) a very worn example 
in the Viennese coin cabinet published by Longuet in NZ (1957), pl. 3, 
262; and 4) an example in the collection of D.P. Vashkov published in 
Anokhin, Coinage of Cherson, pl. 22, 316. The type is absent from all of 
the major museum collections such as Dumbarton Oaks in Washington, DC, Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, the British Museum in London, and the 
Hermitage State Museum in St. Petersburg.
