                              Constantinople mint. oN TIbER MAVRIC PP AV, 
                              diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed facing bust, 
                              holding globus cruciger and shield / VICTORIA 
                              AVGG, angel standing facing, holding staff 
                              surmounted by christogram and plain globus; 
                              QS/CONOB. Cf. DOC I 3/151 (Antioch); cf. MIB II 
                              4/13a; cf. SB 476/529 (obv./rev.; Antioch). EF,

                              This hybrid provides clear evidence that the light 
                              weight solidi were struck at Constantinople, with 
                              the obverse type limited to the court mint, and 
                              the QS marked reverse, formerly attributed to 
                              Antioch (Theopolis).
