Manuel I, AE Tetarteron, 1143-1180 AD, Uncertain Greek mint. 
As SB1976 but much smaller.

MANVHL DECPOTH, Manuel, crowned and wearing loros, bust 
facing, holding labarum and cross on globe.

Barred IC - barred XC to left and right of cross with X at 
centre, on three steps. 

SB 1982, BMC 91-94.

Half Tetarteron, (Copper, 1.88 gram, 18.76/20.10 mm) 

Obverse: Bust of the emperor facing holding long cross and cross on 
globe 
Reverse: Cross on two steps  

Reference: Ratto 2163, Sear 1978 (Tetarteron) 

Very nice obverse and reverse for this type. Brown, green, and 
copper patina. Scarcer than indicated
