Metcalf, "Minting at Thessalonica in the Fifth 
and Sixth Centuries" 309/365 var (No "E" 
officina); DOC -; MIB -; SB -. The obverse style 
corresponds to Metcalf's "Style A" (309ff); the 
reverse is the type of Metcalf's 358ff, but with 
its E officina, usually seen only at 
Constantinople, it appears to be a new issue in 
the Thessalonican series. Nice VF. Rare. ($400)
