The emperors standing facing, holding long cross 
between them. DOC V 1194 (Constantinople); Bendall 
286 (Constantinople); SB 2527 (Constantinople). 
VF, clipped flan. ($200)

The basilika attributed to Constantinople have 
standard flat flans. This piece has a definite 
curvature as well as stylistic differences from 
the Constantinopolitan pieces, probably indicating 
production at a provincial mint.
