Byzantine Empire, John II, 1118-1143, AE Half Tetarteron (13x15mm), F/aVF.
Sear BCV 1955, Obv. Bust of St. Demetrius facing, Q/DI/MI to left, T/PI/O/C
to right. Rev. IW DEC, cuirassed bust of emperor facing. The coin is green,
with legends less than 1/4 present and weak. The obverse is a little weak,
but the reverse is fairly nice, but with part of the head off the flan.
