            (4.03 gm). Thessalonica. +KE RÈ AËES, facing bust of Christ, wearing 
            nimbus cruciger, pallium and colobium, holding book of Gospels with 
            both hands; to left, IC; to right, XC, with line above each / Saint 
            Demetrius on left standing three-quarter right, presenting labarum 
            to Alexius on right, standing facing; the saint nimbate, wearing 
            military attire and holding sword in left hand; the emperor wearing 
            crown and loros and grasping shaft of labarum with right hand; to 
            left, ÄI MI TI P; to right, Ä EC Ð I T H. DOC 4 var. Sear 1904 var.
